As the number of outlets and sales revenue continued to grow rapidly each year, Jean Yip Salon had to employ stricter measures and procedures to tighten up control of their operations and improve on cost-cutting measures even further. As Jean Yip Salon's business and operational processes were reflective of their rapid growth, they required a carefully designed system, adequately modeled after their own industry best practices and yet was highly scalable to adapt for future growth. The challenge was to deploy a single, HQ-synchronised database system for both its hair and beauty operations and provide consolidated backend reporting of all branches.
